2. What finger is it Mustahab to use for Khilaal of the ears during Wudhu? The index finger or the baby finger. A: 1. It is not correct to regard Musaafaha on the occasion of Eid, as necessary. However, engaging in Musaafaha without regarding it as necessary is not objectionable nowadays.
2. The Masah of the ears should be done as follows. The inner part of the ears is to be wiped with the index fingers and the outer part (behind the ears etc.) with the thumb.
