The Mercury

The renaming of our streets has once again sparked controversy. The continuing situation is confusing to the public.

From the beginning a proper direction was not formulated by all the role players, especially the voting public.

As a suggestion it would be more appropriate to get public opinion on the matter via all organizations, including religious ones, where tthese organizations interact with the government on the behalf of the people.

Perhaps this suggestion might seem as "going back to the drawing table" but in many ways it would reduce public confusion and suspicion.
