Name of Book: Tabligh Movement

Author: Ml. Wahiduddin Khan

Publisher: Maktabah Al-Risalah

Edition: 1986

Number of Pages: 68

The Tabligh Jamaat, as it is popularly known, is probably the most active in the field of Da’wah. Unlike other organizations or movements, it runs without a formal constitution except with strict principles and guidelines (given by the elders) that govern the da’wah activities of the Tabligh Jamaat.

This short and concise introduction to the movement begins with the early days of Moulana Ilyas Saheb [RA] through to the efforts of Moulana Muhammad Yusuf Saheb [Hazratjee] and the well-known Tablighi Markaz, Nizamuddin. The author has cited many incidents in the life of both personalities, which is greatly inspirational and thought provoking. Having read through the book, one would have wondered why the author had not added on to the number of pages.
