Essentially the book deals with the aspect of one Muslim greeting another, which every Muslim needs to know. Sometimes such teachings are taken for granted and more than often disregarded.

The book enlightens the reader about its virtues and importance and it gives a brief detail of five related issues, viz: As Salaam (the greeting), Al Musaafahah (the handshake), Al Qublah (the kiss), Al Muaanaqah (the embrace) and Al Isti’dhaan (seeking permission to enter a Muslim home).
