In the Name of Almighty Allah Most Beneficent, Most Merciful.
"Allahumma bariek lana fie Rajab wa
Sha'baan wa Baliegna Ramadan
O Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala! Bless us abundantly with brightness of sincerity to the mirror of our hearts. Cleanse the rust of hypocrisy, ego, name and fame and pride from the tablet of our hearts, and show us the Path of virtue and salvation to helpless wanderers in the mazes of bewilderment, error and confusion.
O Almighty Allah! Endow us with the nobleness and generosity of character. Reveal to us Your Glory and splendour that You have reserved for Your rightly guided servants. "O Almighty Creator & Sustainer! Grantor of Life and Death, cure our sick, remove our infirmity, have mercy upon our dead, grant us healthy bodies and engage them in Your service, guide our affairs in this world and protect our children. Keep our faith in You strong so that we may forever thread on the Right Path. Grant us the benefits of good deeds in this world, the reward of good deeds in the Aghirah, (Hereafter) and save us from the punishment of Jahannum."
Ya Rabbal Ala'meen! Expel the legions of Shaythaan and ignorance from the realms of our hearts, implant the Divine hosts of Ilm, wisdom, Muhabbat and true feelings of caring and sharing in their stead. Enrich our hearts with the profusion of Your Love and that of Your Beloved Nabee Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Sallallahoo Alayhi Wasallam in this transitory world, this ephemeral lodging place.
O Almighty Allah! Shower Your blessings upon us at the time of death, extend to us Your Mercy, and grant us proximity to the Highest Good. Bless us with sincerity of the heart, in purity of conscience, in the spell binding magic of speech, in true humanitarianism, in the firmness and warmth of Imaan, in the height of tranquility, in readiness to help the oppressed, the suffering and the wronged, and in total submission to truth wherever it may lie and whichever form it assume.
O Almighty Rabbul Ala'meen! You are aware of the character of Your servants and know our deficiencies and shortcomings, our weakness and impotence. You immersed us in Your Mercy even before our asking for it.Your bounties are given unasked and Your favours are prior to requests of help. Now we confess to our shortcomings and our ingratitude in the face of Your unlimited bounties.
O Almighty, Exalted and Gracious Allah! We confess that we deserve painful punishment and are worthy of being punished. We have no excuse and no means of seeking Your forgiveness except what You have said through the tongues of Your Ambiya Alayhim Salaam, concerning Yourself and Your Mercifulness, Your Muhabbat, Your compassion, pity, grace and generosity.
O Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala! We know You through these Attributes of Yours and to the extent of our capacity. O Rabbul Ala'meen! How will You deal with this handful of dust? Will it be with anything except compassion and magnanimity? Ya Rabbal Ala'meen! shower Thy eternal blessings upon our Beloved Nabee Muhammad Sallallahoo Alayhi Wasallam, upon all the Ambiya Alayhim Salaam, the Malaa'eeka, the angels, the celestial beings, and Thy blessed righteous servants among the dwellers of the heavens and the earth.
O Almighty Allah! Grant us, Our Lord, through Thy blessings to be among the sincere ones in their love and devotion for Thee, among the righteous ones, and the safeguarded ones in Thy Peace, O Almighty Lord Creator and Cherisher of the universes. O Allah! Bless the Ummah of Your Beloved Nabee Sallallahoo Alayhi Wasallam. Grant us the benefits of a good deed in this world, the reward of a good deed in the Aghirah, and protect us eternally from the agony and sufferings of Jahannum.
O Merciful Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala! Endow us with patience and endurance, and make us gain a strong foothold and resoluteness in our struggle against the enemies of Your Din. O Allah! Turn unto us, accept our Taubah and guide us. Make us all Your Gift to our father Nabee Ebrahim Alayhis Salaam. Unite us into a single loving Ummah so that we can benefit each other, and let Thy Mercy and Bounty encompass us all. O Lord! cure our sick, remove our infirmity, have mercy upon our deceased, grant us healthy bodies and engage them in Your service. Expand our understanding, guide our affairs in this world and protect our children. O Rabbul Ala'meen! cover our sins, help us correct our actions and thoughts, guide our forgetful ones, bring back safely to You our loved ones, keep our faith in You strong, and grant us to be rightly guided.
Ameen - Ya Rabbul Ala'men!
In closing, I pray Insha'Allah, that Almighty Allah Jallah Wa'ala - Exalted Lord of the universes, the Lord of the Divine Throne, Who has no partner or helper, and Who controls and manages every atom in existence, to help us reap the benefits of this humble Duah, and I implore Him to forgive us our sins, that we commit knowingly, and those we commit in ignorance,to grant us His good pleasure in this world and in the life to come, to guide us, and to make our last actions in this life pleasing to Him, to make the conclusion of our lives in this Doonya blessed by Him, and to make the best of our days the day we meet Him. Ameen!
