Reciting Bismillah before Surah Faatiha in Salah |

Ref: sal004/07 May 2007 Q: Is it sunnat to recite "Bismillah' before Surah Faatiha in the 1st and 2nd rakat? And if this is not done then does Sajdah-e-Sahw become Wajib? A: To recite "Bismillah" in Salah before Surah Fatiha is Sunnat.If a person does not read it, Sajda-e-Sahw will not become compulsory and his salah will be valid.However the Sunnah should not be discarded.
