Q: Is Zakaat payable on e-bucks and voyager miles?

A:

To the best of our knowledge these are considered as gifts and these gifts only come into your possession when they are redeemed. Before this, one only has a right. This is not Zakaatable. Zakaat is not payable on e-bucks and voyager miles.
