The Sahaabah (RA) were indeed fortunate to have witnessed the impeccable lifestyle and immaculate behaviour of our beloved Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). It was through their careful and keen observations and their vigilance in tirelessly recording every step and move that the generations until Qiyaamah will benefit. The Seerah of Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) has been so highly acclaimed that non–Muslims too have acknowledged and noted with praise the mubaarak life of Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). It is therefore with this profoundness that none can find fault in his life.
The Sahaabah (RA) were the shining stars, the true torch bearers, models, and followers of Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), which Allah Ta’aala proudly mentions in the noble Quraan: “Allah is pleased with them and they with Him.” Each one of the Sahaabah (RA) – male and female – was the carrier of the Sunnah and Seerah of Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
The Sahaabah (RA) had found immense peace of mind and contentment of heart in the companionship of Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Hence, they withstood the hardships, difficulties, defamation and persecution at the hands of the disbelievers and enemies of Islam. As much as they had come from a background, deeply rooted in and strongly linked to tribalism, customs, ancestral indoctrination and an uncivilized society, once they entered Islam, their lives immediately changed. Their association with and companionship of the beloved Nabi of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) instantly consolidated their lofty position as the shining stars of the Ummah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
