Furious Floods Of Fitna Is Flattening The Ummah : What Do We Do?

The relentless waves of tests, trials and tribulations (fitna) are ruthlessly razing the Ummah to the ground. The unyielding deluges of trials strike  without warning and before you know it, the cruel avalanche has already struck.

In this hour of mayhem and pandemonium, how one react, and what  protective cover does one take. In a narration of Abi Darda (RA), he reports Nabi (Salallahu alayhi wa Sallam) said:

“Do not come close to the fires of fitna, and when the fitna comes to an end, do not interfere or rekindle it; and when the fitna is in progress (is raging) then be patient”. (Tibrani)
The above guidance is a very important lesson for us, especially nowadays as we witness onslaught of fitnas from all directions. During these trying and difficult times, that person who remains aloof from the “heat” of the fitnas, is saved.

As human beings we live in communities and are thus inseparable members of that society. Subsequently, when and if that society is struck by a “volcano” of some fitna, and the burning hot “larva” goes berserk “burning” the ummah to “ashes” --- then remain at a distance from that dangerous and devastating “magma chamber”.

At this critical juncture, nothing, but the wonderful advices of our beloved Nabi-e-Akram (Salallahu alayhi wa Sallam), can save us!.
