Hajj and Umrah
1. Zul Hijjah is from the four sacred months of the Islamic Calender. The four sacred months are Dhul Qa’dah, Dhul Hijja, Muharram and Rajab. The rewards of any good deed done in these months are multiplied, and the sins committed in these months are also regarded as more serious.

The month of Zul-Hijjah is indeed a month of tremendous virtues and blessings. The First Ten Days of this month are especially significant and are among the most magnificent days in the Islamic calendar. It is reported from Ibn Abbaas(radhiyallahu anhu) that Rasulullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said:
Once again the Hajis are leaving for Haj. On such occasions the airport is packed with their relatives and friends who come to wish them well on their journey. The same scenario is evident when the Hajis return. Some people have been advising that on such occasions one should avoid going to the airport. Instead one should visit them at their homes. Is this correct?
