Blankets distribution in Dundee

Darul Ihsan Centre, in its continuing 2017 ‘Winter Warmth’ blanket relief drive – in conjunction with members of the Dundee Muslim Youth Committee (DMYC) – distributed 300 blankets to community residents of Craigeside, Sibongile and Dlamini Village in Dundee on Sunday, 21 May 2017.

 

The blankets were distributed to indigent residents in areas that experiences harsh winter conditions.

Brother Riaz Manack, coordinator for Darul Ihsan Centre and a member of the Dundee Muslim Youth Committee - together with other Dundee community members – handed the blankets to residents in the areas.

All recipients of the blankets expressed their sincere appreciation to members of the Dundee Muslim Youth Centre and Darul Ihsan Centre for the relief operation in the area.

These relief outreaches are made possible through the generous contributions and ongoing support of the Muslim community.
