Darul Ihsan feeding outreach at Anjuman Eikhavatool orphanage - Family contributes on son's Hifz completion

Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre’s Outreach Team facilitated meals for children at the Anjuman Eikhavatool Islam Orphanage in Mayville on Saturday, 10 November 2018.

Over 120 hot meals were provided for the children at the orphanage for lunch.

The meals, cool-drinks and cakes were sponsored by the kind gesture of a Durban family whose son completed Hifzul Qur’an. The respected family was present at the orphanage and personally interacted with the children and assisted in serving meals to them.

Gift bags were also handed to every child at the orphanage. Brother Yaseen Dawood, the supervisor of the orphanage, expressed his appreciation to the family for the provision of the meals and thanked the Outreach Team for their efforts.

Darul Ihsan encourages this form of humanitarian concern and urges other families to 'invest' their resources in worthy causes of community upliftment. The donor family has indeed set a remarkable example for the Muslim community to follow. May Allah Ta'ala accept their contribution and noble intentions.

These outreaches are made possible through the generous contributions and ongoing support of the Muslim community.
