Food hampers distributed to elder residents of TAFTA

Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre has, over the years, provided relief in the form of meals and blankets distributed (during winter) to many elderly residents at various TAFTA (The Association for The Aged) residences in Durban.

On Tuesday, 12 November 2019 Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre handed food hampers to Ms Nirupa Kasserchun, the Fundraising Manager of TAFTA.

The food hampers were for distribution to elderly residents based at TAFTA residences in Durban.

Nirupa Kasserchun, the Fundraising Manager for TAFTA, expressed her kind appreciation to Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre for the gesture.

Darul Ihsan Media Desk

“Salaams Maulana

Thank you for considering Kwa-Zulu-Natal’s elderly.

Your donation of 200 food hampers received on the 12 November 2019 is greatly appreciated.

It will be distributed to Kings Hall, John Dunn House, St Martins and Tafta Lodge.

Thank you once again for shining the light in these elders lives as we head into the festive season.

Your generosity helps us inspire a life worth living for our elders thereby eliminating those feelings of helplessness and depression.”

Kind regards

Nirupa Kasserchun
Fundraising Manager
