The ‘Ghusl and Kafn’ class held at the Verulam Islamic Centre on Saturday, 16 November 2019 saw a record of almost 100 ladies attending the class and the last class of the year - held on Saturday, 23 November at the Seaview Musallah - was also attended by an encouraging number of persons considering the small Muslim community in the area.
Indeed, this could only have happened with the dedicated and conjoined efforts of all in both communities.
The ‘Ghusl & Kafn’ programmes are run on the basis of a ‘practical demonstration’ which clarifies all aspects of how to correctly perform ghusl and adhere to the exact kafn requirements.
All questions that were raised by the attendees were answered professionally by the panel and there was much positive feedback from the attendees on the benefit of the programme.
There are many negative social issues impacting our communities and during the Ghusl and Kafn classes these issues are also discussed with advices given by the presenters of the Ghusl and Kafn classes.
These and other community education drives are ongoing initiatives of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre made possible by the ongoing support and generous contributions of the Muslim community.
