Social Department

The Social Department serves and assist those experiencing social related problems through intensive counselling and education. Marriage counselling through personal visits, telephone, email and skype has proven to be highly effective with a number of cases being registered on a weekly basis at the Centre.

The Centre provides a pro bono mediation and dispute resolution service to the community under the auspices of the Muslim Marriage Tribunal (MMT). Mediation is highly encouraged for parties seeking an amicable end to their disputes.

A tele-counselling service, GUIDELINE, is to be set up to provide this much needed service, Insha Allah.

Pre-marital counselling and marriage workshops are held on an ongoing basis to educate people on the practical aspects of marriage.

Learner support, drug awareness and ongoing educational programs is provided to Islamic schools to assist them with discipline and development.

Educational material is regularly published on pertinent aspects of social living. Publications like “41 Practical Advices for a trouble-free Marriage”, “Suicide”, “Divorce” etc. provide guidance and enlightenment to the reader.
