Q: l would like to know if it is permissible to eat shark. Some one did tell me that it was ok, but considering its predatory nature is shark permissible for Muslims ?

Shark is from the fish category and is accordingly unanimously permitted for Muslim consumption by all the mathaa-hib (schools of jurisprudence).
