Rasulullah (Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam) said: "The heart of the person who remains awake (in Ibadat) during the night of Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adhaa will not die on the Day when hearts will be dead, i.e. the Day of Qiyaamah." (TIBRANI) The nights of both Eids, i.e. the nights preceding the Days of Eid, are auspicious occasions which should be observed with reverence and worship.
The practice of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was to perform Eid Salaah on an open field at the outskirts of the city. It is thus Sunnah to perform Eid Salaah at the "Musallah" (Eid Gah).
Qunoot-e-Naazilah
It is narrated in authentic Ahadith that when ever the Muslim community were faced with any severe difficulty, Nabi (S.A.W) used to recite the Dua-e-Qunoot in the Salaah for the protection of the Muslim community.
The jumu’ah khutbah is a condition (shart) for the prayer. The jumu’ah prayer is not complete without the khutbah. Furthermore, this condition can only be fulfilled by the performance of dhikr Allāh (remembrance of Allah).
Perform Salah Correctly!
