On Saturday 8 February 2020 Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre’s Relief Team, together with community volunteers, provided meals and clothing for residents at the Mallacca Road Informal Settlement in Avoca, Durban.

On Saturday 25 January 2020 Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre’s Relief Team together with community volunteers provided meals for residents at the Quarry Road West informal settlement situated along the M19 Freeway in Durban.

Many parents of learners at schools have difficulties in providing the basics for their children in terms of school uniforms, stationery requirements and especially payment of school fees.

The recent spate of rains caused flooding in certain areas in the greater Durban area affected many people.

‘Youth of the Ummah’ (YOU) - the youth wing of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre - held a successful “Day Out” on Saturday, the 7th of December 2019 at ‘Spirit of Adventure’ located in the precinct of the Shongweni Dam, Durban.
