On Thursday last week, 13 February, the Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre’s ‘Feed the Needy’ team conducted meal distributions across areas of greater Durban.
The Fiqhud Dawah Forum was formed under the auspices of Darul Ihsan Centre as a platform to identify and discuss contemporary challenges faced by Ulama and Dawah workers mainly in the townships and rural areas.
On a daily basis, the Darul Ihsan Welfare Department conducts interviews and dispenses assistance to hundreds of recipients.

On Saturday, 25 January, the Daughters of the Ummah (DOU) youth group hosted their first inspiring programme for the year titled ‘Mu’minah 101’ at Al Falaah College, Springfield, Durban.
The Youth of the Ummah’s 15th Youth Camp, held at Seula Zimbili in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), was a transformative and spiritually enriching event designed to inspire and uplift the Muslim youth. On the evening of Thursday, 28th November 2024, the 8th Al Ihsan Qiraat event was held at Masjid ul Fatah in La Lucia, Durban. The program, themed "The Noble Qur'an: Our Source of Strength & Resilience," commenced after Maghrib Salah.

On Saturday afternoon, 23 November, the Daughters of the Ummah (DOU) youth group hosted an event titled ‘Az-Zahra: Blooming in Motion’ at Madrasah Ihsan, Sea Cow Lake, Durban. The event saw a staggering attendance of almost 60 Muslimahs aged between 9-15.
On Saturday, 2nd November 2024, Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre's held its 11th Learner Development Programme (LDP). The program, aimed at educating the community on essential practices, focused on the Sunnah Method of Bathing, Shrouding, and Burial of a Muslim.

On Friday, 4 October 2024, the Daughters of the Ummah youth group hosted an event titled ‘Al-Akhawat’, which aimed to strengthen bonds of sisterhood.
The gathering was attended by over 20 Muslimahs aged between 15-25, and opened with a Dua recitation and translation, with the noble intention of a gathering like this in mind.
Alhumdulillah, our third term holiday activity for the under 12 year olds was held at the Darul Ihsan offices in Seacowlake. The activity was directed as encouraging our youngsters to become productive and proactive individuals.
