Question: Is learning a few Juz and forgetting the same sin as becoming Hafiz and forgetting the Qur’an?

There are some specific prescribed Zikr by the Ulema which are called "Wazifa" (practices). These are certain Duaas, or Ayah of Quran or the names of Allah for a specific number of times in order to achieve something.
Now my question is that do we have evidences from the Quran, Sunnah and the practice of the pious on practicing these prescribed practices?
