Cleaning the fingers after eating by licking them is a Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). Hazrat Ka'b bin Malik (R) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to eat with three fingers and when he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) completed eating he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would lick his (blessed) fingers. (Sahih Muslim)
The Ahadith of Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) emphasise the importance of modesty. Modesty is an adornment for a believer and fortification of Iman.
Bringing happiness to a Muslim is a Sunnah and an act of great merit. There are many ways in which this can be achieved. Many people find themselves in distress and difficulty. By cheering someone up, it lightens their difficulty and gives hope.
To believe that the months of Muharram and Safar bring misfortune or calamity or that a marriage performed in these months will be negatively affected is an un-Islamic belief. The Noble Qur'an states: "No calamity (or harm) can occur, except by the will of Allah". (Surah 64 - Verse 11).

Istikharah is a priceless teaching of Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) – a gift for every Muslim. Istikharah means to seek goodness from Allah Ta'ala in a matter of importance in one's life. Through Istikahrah a person draws from the favours of Allah Ta'ala.
