This week, the new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system in South Africa was launched, which is implemented to expedite processing times for travellers, provide better security, as well as to expand economic growth.

In previous years, the Port of Cape Town experienced operational failures due to extremely high wind speeds, which led to significant losses for fruit producers.
