At the Jamarat, 200 spray columns and 400 mist fan columns have been replaced and upgraded, allowing for a cooler experience for Hajj pilgrims.

The pedestrian routes linking the holy sites have seen an upgrade of 66,000 square metres of rest areas, allowing pilgrims traveling on foot to take breaks from the heat, as well as accommodating for the growing annual crowds.
