Q: What happens if a person does not perform Tawaf-uz-Ziyarah?

A: If a person does not perform Tawaf-uz-Ziyarah and returns home, then the Hajj will not be complete and such a person will be in the state of Ihram with regards to intimacy with the spouse. This person must return to perform the Tawaf-uz-Ziyarah as this is a Rukn (key requirement) of Hajj. As long as Tawaf-uz-Ziyarah is not performed, the Hajj remains incomplete.
