A: According to the Hanafi Mazhab, it is Makruh (disliked) to perform optional prayers after the Asr Salah until the sun sets. Hence, if a person has been assigned a slot after the Asr Salah, then he/she may engage in other forms of Ibadah, like Tilawah (recitation of the Qur’an), Zikr, Dua etc.,

N.B: The performance of Qadha Salah after Asr until before sunset is allowed.
